ScyFix, an Alternative Treatment for Macula Degeneration

As you know, until now, there have been only three traditional treatments for macula degeneration:

  1. Laser: A retina specialist uses a laser to weld the leaking area when a patient has wet macula degeneration. This does not improve eyesight but it does put a hold on vision loss.
  2. Nutrition: The second proven treatment which slows the progression of macula degeneration, is the nutritional approach using nutrient formulas like Macula Protect.
  3. Low Vision Care: The third treatment is Low Vision Care. Low Vision Care is the examination and prescription of special optical, or electronic devices to enhance poor eyesight. We are successful with improving distance vision or reading ability for over 80% of our patients, even those who had been told by other eye doctors that "nothing more can be done".
There is now a 4th Treatment. It is called ScyFix

ScyFix is an alternative treatment which may slow macula degeneration and/or may provide vision improvement for many patients with macula degeneration.

Many treated patients report some improvement in acuity and/or sharpness of vision and/or some improvement of the visual field loss and/or increased color perception, and/or a slowing of the loss of vision.

This non-surgical and pain-free treatment uses a very low intensity, micro-current to rejuvenate macula cells that are dormant by restoring the bioelectrical imbalance of those cells. No side effects or adverse reactions have been observed related to this treatment.

The treatment is done at home for 20 minutes, twice per day.

ScyFix treatment is not a cure for macula degeneration, is not a substitute for laser treatment by a retina specialist, and does not replace the necessary macula degeneration nutritional regimen. It is the alternative treatment for patients who want to maximize their possibility of vision improvement and minimize progression of their macula degeneration.
